Final Words for July on Spiritual Understanding

We have now come to the end of another month, pushing us a few steps closer toward the last quarter of the year. As we close out the month of July I hope you've enjoyed the articles & songs I've posted on the theme of Spiritual Understanding all month. I further pray that you found them in some way helpful and encouraging for whatever challenges in life you may be going through.

With that said, I leave you with these final thoughts and review of my overall theme on Spiritual Understanding and message for July. No matter what the situation may appear to be, how it looks in the physical or feels to your emotions never give up on trusting God. Regardless what the doctor, lawyer, judge, co-worker, employer or even family & friends have said about whatever your current circumstances may be, remember that God has sovereignty over all things under the sun. In fact, even the Sun and Moon rise and sets each day at His command. So why should you ever fear what man(as in human) can do to you.

Instead of being fearful or worrying, ask God for Spiritual Understanding over your situation no matter how major or minute it may seem to be. Then trust that in doing so he will reveal to you things you are unable to see clearly from the human perspective about the situation on your own. Trust even further that He will also guide you by giving you discernment and right judgment regarding the best recourse of action to take if action is required on your part.

Lastly, in all things remember and take heed to the advice of Proverbs 3:5-6 which says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he shall direct your paths." I look forward to continuing to encouraging you and sharing more Inspirational Love Notes with you here as we transition into the month of August.

Until next time...I salute the Divinity of Christ in you...and surround you in Love & Light.

Arise and Shine...Today is Your Day of Favor

Isaiah 60:1 says, "Arise shine; for your light is come, and the glory of the Lord shall rise upon you." Psalm 118:24 says, "This is the day which the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it."

I've just given you two reasons from scripture for you to let go of whatever troubles of yesterday was weighing on your mind & heart last night and get up and give God His rightful praise & glory from you today. No matter what you may be going through know this day that God is not only with you but He is also for you.

Therefore, if you've already prayed about the situation asking for His help, guidance and deliverance then you've done your part and as promised in Isaiah 54:17, "No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment, you shall condemn". Now let go and allow God to do what only He can do for you in the situation which is to work it out for your best and highest good. I assure you...He will not fail in delivering you from the situation unscathed or scared and better off than you were before you went through whatever you're working to overcome.

Since EVERYTHING God has made is good I won't close by expressing to you to have a good day. Instead, I encourage you to go out and embrace the goodness that's already been prepared by God for you today and is now yours for the taking. All you have to do is keep your mind stayed on Him and know that no matter what you're going through...Today is the day for things to work in your favor.

So take in the uplifting words of the song I've chosen and attached below by the late great Wayman Tisdale to help convey this message . Then get up...go out into the world...and let your love light shine..."TODAY"!

Until next time...I salute the Divinity of Christ in you and surround you in Love & Light!

The A.C.T of Life

Here are three principles to help guide you through the A.C.T. of Life:

ACKNOWLEDGE the presence of God within you daily through prayer, meditation, studying His word in scripture along with other inspirational books, blogs, music, etc. and fasting when led in spirit to do so.

CHANGE YOUR MIND if necessary from negative thoughts that don't align with the truth of who you are. Don't agree with or accept a "you can't do it" mentality from yourself or anyone else.

TRUST IN SPIRIT because God always wants and has the absolute highest and best for you. Therefore, He will always lead you to your highest good.

Remember and apply these three principles along your journey in life to get you through any appearance of challenges or obstacles that you may find yourself facing. Fearlessly speak the Truth of Gods word to any person or situation that attempts to bring negativity energy or adversity your into your life.

With boldness and great confidence remind yourself of Gods promise to NEVER leave or forsake you. Stand on the rock of truth given to us through scripture that with God being for you no person, situation or thing can come against you and prosper.

Above all hold your peace in the mist of the storm or appearance of the battle. Be still and A.C.T. like you know God is on your side keeping and protecting you in the midst of it all. Holding on to this truth walk with confidence through the day and sleep peacefully at night. After all, there's no need to worry or lose sleep over the situation because despite the outer appearance of the details involved...all is in the mighty hands of God. Therefore all is Divine Order thus ALL is well.

To help convey my message for you today please enjoy the lyrics to the powerful song I've attached below, "In The Midst of It All" by Yolanda Adams.

Until next time...I salute the Divinity of Christ in you and surround you in Love & Light!

Total Surrender...Total Praise...Total Transformation

There's power is surrendering to God. In fact, sometimes Total Surrender and Total Praise is exactly what's needed to see a Total Transformation in a situation you may be going through. One of my favorite inspirational/spiritual author's Marianne Williamson wrote in her book, Everyday Grace, "In surrendering a situation to God, we are asking Him to give us new thoughts and feelings about it. We are asking His help in deemphasizing things that don't ultimately matter and focusing on what does. We are asking that His thoughts replace our own, that we be lifted by His Spirit to a lighter consciousness and thus a lighter life. The spiritual life is one of mental discipline in which we cleave to higher thought forms because we know they are key to our happiness and peace."

So if there's something you woke up this morning still struggling with that may have happened over the weekend, last week, last month or last year...try surrendering it to God today. Then go in peace giving him total praise in advance for the total transformation of the situation that's already on the way and begins today with you.

As for me...I woke up this morning with this beautiful song of serenity on my mind which I find very befitting to further conveying my message to you today. It's called "Total Praise" by Richard Smallwood and I've linked the YouTube video of it with the lyrics to share with you below. Listen and let the lyrics soothe your mind, calm your thoughts and lighten your spirit. Remember...this is the day the Lord has made and blessed you to wake up this morning to take part in...so go forth in peace...rejoicing and being glad in it.

The Benefits of Holding Your Peace

"He who spares his words has knowledge; and he who is patient is a wise man. Even a fool when he holds his peace is considered wise; and he who shuts his lips is considered a man of understanding." (Proverbs 17: 27-28 Lamsa's Aramaic Translation-The Ancient Eastern Text)

"Someone who is sure of himself does not talk all the time. People who stay calm have real insight. After all, even a fool may be thought wise and intelligent if he stays quiet and keeps his mouth shut." (Same scripture as above ~The Good News Bible-Today's English Version Translation)

My Interpretation:

Knowing when to hold your peace, choose your words carefully, and extend patience to people who are testing your patience, by doing the exact opposite, thereby letting their mouth get them in trouble, exudes wisdom and knowledge on your part. Even a fool is considered wise when he realizes when to be quiet and hold his peace.

So if your going through a situation where someone is testing your patience, your spiritual nature and your nerves....give it to God and don't wrestle with it. In doing so God will reveal to you greater insight and understanding for how to deal with the person or situation if you just hold your peace and remain patient & calm.

In the meantime ask God to give you a clean heart free of anger, resentment, and negative thoughts toward the person(s) involved and the situation itself. To help you get started listen to the lyrics of this beautiful song below by Fred Hammond and go in peace beloved.

The Blessing of Spiritual Understanding

"Blessed are those who find wisdom,
and those who find understanding.
For there is more profit in it than silver
and it is worth more than fine gold.

She is more valuable than precious jewels;
and nothing you desire can be compared to her.
Long life is in her right hand;
and in her left hand riches and honor.

Her ways are ways of pleasantness,
and all her paths are peace.
She is a tree of life to those who lay hold of her;
and blessed are those who wait for her.

The Lord by His wisdom created the earth;
by His understanding He established the heavens.
By His knowledge He caused the rivers to flow
and the clouds drop down the dew.

Wisdom is the principal thing;
therefore get wisdom;
and in all your getting get understanding."

(Proverbs 3:13-20 & 4:7)

I shared this scripture with you in the format of a poem because as I read various versions of it I noticed most bibles translated the word understanding as "insight". This means when we seek spiritual understanding we are really asking God to give us "spiritual insight".

So in addition to my creative way of conveying this "insightful" message from the book of Proverbs to you poetically, I've also included a video below to one of my favorite gospel songs, "Speak To My Heart", which re-enforces the message above. It is most popularly known by Donnie McClurkin. However, the version I've attached below is by R&B hit singer Faith Evans whom I think did an equally soul stirring rendition of the song.

As you absorb the words of both messages I pray you will do so with an open heart. By doing so may you receive the wisdom, insight, and spiritual understanding from God to direct your path in whatever situation you may be going through.

Until next time...I salute the Divinity in you and surround you in Love & Light.

The the above scripture from the Book of Proverbs, used by the creator and author of this blog, is a combination of the following three different biblical translations: Lamsa's Aramaic Translation (Holy Bible Ancient Eastern Text), The Good News Bible (Today's English Version), and the Oxford King James Version Bible.

You Are That which You Desire

You are that which you desire be it friendship, a new job, career, money or even love. Be a perfect expression of that which you desire and you will attract more of it to you in a perfect way. It is Universal law that what you send out creates a vacuum effect that attracts the same back to you. However, like anything else in life...it only works if you work it. So if you desire more love and harmonious relationships in your life...begin expressing more love by being more loving toward others and having an open heart of compassion.

If you desire peace in your life then begin being more peaceful by stilling your mind, holding peace-filled thoughts and behaving in a manner that promotes peace when interacting with others. Ahhh and everyone's favorite...money! If you desire more money then begin freely giving more money and do not be afraid to spend it when necessary.

There’s nothing wrong with saving but if the situation arises that requires you to spend money don’t be afraid to do so. Hoarding anything, especially out of a fearful belief of lack or thinking if you spend what you have you won’t get more, blocks the flow to the divine supply in your life, which contrary to some beliefs, does include money. Understand that giving IS receiving because they are part of the same cycle that can only be broken when you begin holding back from doing either. The same is true with love or anything else you desire.

As a child of God His promise is that you are a rightful heir to all within His Kingdom which is infinite in its supply. Yet if trusting in this promise from God is an area of challenge for you then refer to Philippians 4:19 which says, “But my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in the glory of Christ Jesus.” Notice it says, “ALL your needs not some. And God is fully aware that money is a substance we need to survive in this world. So trust that He will not fail to supply it for you in your time of need.

With all these examples, appreciate what you already have even if it doesn't appear to be much. Be a cheerful giver AND receiver in all things as Jesus taught us through scripture. By doing so that which you desire will begin to increase and expand in your own life. It may seem to be taking a while but know that it's just a matter of time. That which you give freely with an open heart and attitude of gratitude must return to you pressed down, shaken together and running over.

This is a guaranteed promise to use. It is both Universal AND Spiritual Law and must be fulfilled. If you need more proof try putting it to the test. Truth is Truth and Law is Law. So if you begin to practice this Truth it cannot return to you void rather you believe it to be Truth or not. Therefore, I leave you with these parting words of encouragement and inspiration as you anticipate the desires of your heart and prayers to manifest. ...let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” (Galatians 6:9 KJV)
