Are you going through a situation that feels like you're stuck between "here and there"? Sometimes the transitional process getting from where we are to where we wanna be in life can be frustrating and fearful. It can also bring on high levels of anxiety when it looks like we're not getting any closer to our desires, hopes, dreams or even a need that we have prayed over and are doing our best to remain patient as we wait for God to fulfill it.

A much more productive use of your mind space and emotional energy is to do as scripture tells us in St. Luke 12:40 and "be ready..."
With that said, here are a list of promises from scripture you can stand on to help you mentally and emotionally get ready while waiting on your expected blessings that are sure to come in an unexpected time and way.

Psalm 46:10 ~ “Be still, and know that I am God; I am exalted among the
heathen and I am exalted in the earth.”
Psalm 23:5 ~ “Thou preparest a table for me in the presence of mine
enemies; thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.”
Luke 12:36 ~ “And be like men who expect their master when he will
return from the wedding house; so that when he comes and knocks, they will
immediately open the door for him."
Luke 12:37 ~ "Blessed are those servants, whom their master, when he comes, finds
them awake; truly I say to you that he will gird himself and make them sit
down, and come in and serve them."
Luke 12:38 ~ "If he should come in the second or the third watch and find them
so, blessed are those servants…."
Luke 12:40 ~ "Therefore, you also be ready; for the Son of man will come in that
very hour which you do not expect.”
Isaiah 55:10-13 ~ “For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven,
and returns not thither, but waters the earth and makes it bring forth and
sprout and gives seed to the sower and bread to the eater;
So shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth; it shall not
return to me void, but it shall do what I please and it shall accomplish that
for which I sent it.
For you shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace; the
mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing and all the
trees of the field shall clap their hands.
Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the
brier shall come up the myrtle; and if shall be to the Lord for a name, for an
everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.”
