We have now quickly come not only to the end of yet another month expeditiously pushing us closer the end of the year. We have also come to the verge of summers end as well. I hope you have found my Inspirational Love Notes for this month insightful, encouraging and in some way helpful in getting you through whatever situation God is working out in your life at this time.
As we wrap up the month of August here are a few final thoughts on my theme subject discussed all month, the 8th of the 12 spiritual power faculties, WILL. All month I have shared messages of inspiration, encouragement, understanding and insight on the difference between our personal will and the higher Will of God. Additionally, I have provided bible scriptures and a song selection that supports the main point of each daily message regarding the Will of God for our lives.
Therefore, in review of the overall point of all the messages I've shared on this months theme, remember as it is stated in Proverbs 19:21, that we may have many plans but it is God's Higher plan for our lives that will prevail. This is not to say do not make plans for your life. By all means we should continue to set goals and pursue our dreams and life aspirations passionately.
However, in doing so we must keep in mind that we are created by and put here by God for His higher calling not for our own personal agenda's. So as we make our plans and set our goals in life we must remember to leave room in our hearts and our plans for God's Higher plan to unfold.
We must also remember to ask God what is his Divine Will for our lives and surrender our personal will to the infinite wisdom and intelligence of the Divine Mind of God. We are reminded of this in Isaiah 55:8-9 where the Lord says, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts."
Therefore, if we have our coarse set to go in a particular direction in our lives only to find things not unfolding according to how we had planned because the Will of God has redirected our plans, thus taking our lives in a different direction than we had in mind, we must trust that God always has our best interest in mind and knows what's better for us than we could ever know how to think of or ask of him.
In this respect, we must come to understand that God has a a Higher purpose for why he allows us to go through certain things or allow particular situations in our lives to unfold or not unfold as we may have planned. So we must make our plans but do so with a spirit and heart of submission to the Higher plans and Will of God.
After all, Isaiah 14:21 also says, in regards to the Will of God, "The Lord Almighty has sworn, Surely, as I have planned, so it will be, and as I have purposed, so it will stand." Therefore, continue to make and pursue the plans according to your will for your life. Just remember that in the end it is God's Will for your life that shall prevail.

Turn Your Lemons Into Lemonade
A few days ago I was making something that required fresh organic lemons as a main ingredient. So my boyfriend stopped by the store and picked some up for me. I only needed a few but instead he brought me a whole bag of them. So later that day I found myself standing in front of the refrigerator holding the door open while staring at that bag of lemons thinking, "why did he bring me a whole bag of lemons? I only needed a few now the rest of them are useless."
Shaking my head and laughing to myself I said, "God what am I suppose to do now with all these lemons?" Then I closed the door to the refrigerator and turned to the kitchen sink to wash some dishes when, still laughing to myself about the matter, I heard that "still small voice" of Spirit within say back to me..."use them to make lots of fresh squeezed lemonade."
At that point I began laughing hysterically out loud at the simplicity of such a clear yet profound epiphany. I say this because this revelation from Spirit was not just in reference to my quandary regarding the bag of lemons in my refrigerator. It was also a metaphor in response to a plea for help and guidance regarding a much bigger, more challenging situation, I was also facing at the time in my personal life that I had just prayed to God about earlier that morning as well during my daily prayer and mediation time.
So I laughed out loud in amazement at how awesome God is. In that same moment I realized the response I had just heard from Spirit, while standing at my kitchen sink trying to figure out what to with that silly bag of lemons, was also the answer for how to address the personal situation in my life I had prayed about as well.
You see, the moral of this story is that no matter what life throws at you there's always hope for turning the situation around in your favor. Sometimes we aim for a particular goal in life or pray for an immensely heartfelt desire to come to pass. Yet, what shows up in front of us instead is a situation that falls short of what we had envisioned and leaves us feeling like we've ended up with a bag of lemons. However, you can always turn your lemons...into lemonade.
Romans 8:28 in the New Living Translation says, "And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them." With this being the case, we can take any situation or circumstance that looks and feels like a bag of lemons and trust that despite outer appearances of the situation, God is in the mist of it all working it out in a way that will prove to be something very good for us. We can trust that in the final outcome no matter how bleak the situation currently appears, it will always end up working out in our best interest and highest favor.
So take heed to the wisdom from Spirit that came to me regarding my own personal situation and apply it in your life as well. Take that situation that looks and feels like a bag of lemons in your life and see God turning it into a sweet...refreshing...delicious...organic...hand squeezed by our Most High God...tall pitcher of lemonade.
Remember...no matter how long it takes to see the change you desire in the matter or how old you may be God is still well able. As long as there will always be a God in control of all things in the Universe...likewise there will always be hope for any situation in your life to be turn around for the better.

Hear My Call : A Prayer for Healing...Help...and Guidance
I know I usually publish my daily Inspirational Love Note messages through my original works of poetry and articles. However, there is no poem or article I could write today that would more clearly convey my message of encouragement for you better than Jill Scott has already done through her phenomenal talent displayed in her song, "Hear My Call", from her recently released CD "Light of The Sun". So I've linked her new exceptionally well done video below to share with you as my Inspirational Love Note for you today.
I personally think Jill Scott is an extraordinary actor, poet, songstress and artist. Yet, when you witness for yourself the heart moving display of emotions and truth-filled lyrics in this video and song that she sings from the depths of her soul...I think you will agree with me that it's very hard to believe she is just "acting" here. This video is a display of REAL...RAW emotions. It is a very personal prayer calling to God from her heart that she has openly and courageously shared with her fans through her prolific lyrics...anointed gift of music and angelic voice.
So to anyone (myself included) who feels or have ever felt as she so eloquently expresses in this video and song, I encourage you today to do as both Jill has done in this song and I have done countless times...turn inward to God. Ask Him for help and guidance through whatever painful or challenging situation you're going through. Psalm 118:5 (New International Version) says, “In my anguish I cried out to the Lord, and he answered by setting me free.”

On The Edge of A Breakthrough
What do you do when the journey
has been long, arduous and tough,
And you're way past the point
of feeling like you've had enough?
Ask God to renew your strength
but don't you dare give up...
It's just a sign that
you're on the edge of a breakthrough!
What do you do when seeds
you've been sowing
still show no major sign
of bearing fruit,
And the progress you have
achieved seems so minute?
Keep watering those seeds
and trust that beneath the ground
they're gowning...
Keep the faith cause you're
on the edge of a breakthrough!
What do you do when you've done
your very best to remain
humble & meek,
And now your spirit is still
willing but your flesh is getting weak,
When your thoughts of despair
are getting harder to control,
and your reaching an emotional peak?
Put on the whole armor of God
and hold your peace...your right there,
on the edge of your breakthrough!
What do you do when your situation
appears worst now than when
it began,
And your patience with the outcome
is culminating to a rapid end?
When your thoughts of throwing
in the towel and walking away

The Revelation: A Night Vision of Victory
Yesterday I felt worried and uncertain about tomorrow,
which has now become my today
Then last night through a vision God spoke to me,
and in that spiritual revelation this is what
He had to say:
"Take all those negative thoughts
causing you to worry,
and the lies to you they tell
Evict everyone of them from
your heart & mind,
sending them all straight back to hell
I AM the Most High God who loves you
and the promises I make are solid and true
So cease your worrying over
what may come tomorrow,
from that situation you've been going through
From the human perspective you may not understand
Yet, I AM your Lord & Savior in life...
So Be Still and trust in my master plan
Though everything appears to be coming against you,
I am actually bringing every bit of it together
for your best and highest good
And in the end I will have worked out
every detail of the matter...
far better than you ever could
I will pay you back double for all the years
you've sown in tears...
through all your heartache & pain
I will send victory from the sky like rain,
and pour out blessings of such great abundance
that your barns will not have room to contain
Just to prove to all who have witnessed
your long-suffering
that you belong to me, the Most High God,
and all you've endured has not been in vain
When the final outcome unfolds
I will keep my word to give you
the desires of your heart
I will restore the years the locust have eaten
and give every area of your life a fresh start
So rest assured and stand firm
on my word in Isaiah 46:13 that says,
"your victory is near and triumph
will not be delayed"
I will bring you out into a comfortable place
fulfilling every request you have prayed
The battle is now over...the war has been won
I AM the Lord your God
who has said this to your spirit...
As I have spoken these things
so shall they be done."
which has now become my today

The Door to Your Divine Destiny is Open...Are you willing to walk through it?
The door to your divine destiny is already open. The question is...are you willing to step out on faith and walk through it? Are you willing to go after your dreams with tenacity and sheer determination until they become your reality?
Are you willing to see the grand opportunities the changes in our countries economy presents? Are you further willing to maximize on those opportunities by taking that brilliant idea God gave you years ago off your "mental shelf" and execute it now, thus creating work for yourself and others rather than looking for work?
Are you willing to follow your passions with fierceness and fortitude until you discover for yourself where they might lead you? Are you willing to let go of your fears and apprehensions from your past and live with enthusiasm about tomorrow...fully present in today?
Continuing with the theme for this month on the spiritual faculty Will, we realize from the scriptures noted in my previous Inspirational Love Notes this month on the subject, that God's Will for us has been made plain and clear. We know now from those scriptures that God's Will for us is to, "have life and to have it more abundantly." We understand also from scripture that God's Will for us is to have joy that is complete in Him through Christ Jesus.
We also know through the scriptures that God has promised to give us the desires of our hearts if we only keep him first in our lives, loving, trusting & seeking him with all our hearts. Lastly, we know from Jesus in Luke 12:32 that..." it is the Father's good pleasure..." to give us the kingdom.
Therefore again I say, God's Will for us through scripture has been made crystal clear. He has already done His part by orchestrating the "Divine Design" for our lives from the moment of our conception in our mother's womb. To demonstrate His deep love for us even further He has already laid before us the perfect path of least resistance to the "good life" he has prepared and promised is ours to behold.
The door to your divine destiny is open. So the real question here is not in regards to God's Will. Rather, the question is are you willing to align your will with God's Will for you? Are you willing to step out on faith no matter how many times you've tried to achieve your dreams in the past and was met with the appearance of failure and disappointment. Are you willing to try again only this time having an "I will NOT be put off or denied that which is my Divine Right inheritance as a child of the Most High God" attitude.
Before I go, I'd like to share with you an excerpt from a monthly publication by my church home, Hillside International Chapel & Truth Center, Inc., called the Daily Thoughts From The Hill, written by Rev. Angela Harrington-Rice. In her message for last Wednesday, August 17th, entitled "I Walk Through The Open Door", she wrote:
"Sometimes the opportunity we desire is just beyond the open door. When we make the decision that we have had enough of what has been and no longer fear the "what if's," we will see the open door and walk through it."
She goes on to say, "...We sometimes fear the realm of the unknown and would rather stay in the realm of what we know. However, when we totally trust the Holy Spirit, we know that God is forever with us and will never leave us. And if we walk through the door to the other side, we will experience the table that God has prepared for us that meets our every need."
So what are you waiting for...perfect conditions in your situation? If that's your excuse then you're waiting is in vain because life is messy and the conditions of your situation will never be more perfect than they are right now. Yesterday is for letting go...tomorrow is but a dream...but today...Ahhhh...Today is for living.
So go on...step out on faith and walk through that open door to that new career in the field of interest you've always dreamed of working. Take that leap of faith through the door to that new relationship and give love another try.
Follow your passion through every door it leads you knowing God is with you every step of the way. Conquer your fears. Walk through that open door of opportunity set before you right now and don't look back even for a milla-second. Your divine destiny awaits you...so go get it!

Are you willing to step out on faith no matter how many times you've tried to achieve your dreams in the past and was met with the appearance of failure and disappointment. Are you willing to try again only this time having an "I will NOT be put off or denied that which is my Divine Right inheritance as a child of the Most High God" attitude.
Before I go, I'd like to share with you an excerpt from a monthly publication by my church home, Hillside International Chapel & Truth Center, Inc., called the Daily Thoughts From The Hill, written by Rev. Angela Harrington-Rice. In her message for last Wednesday, August 17th, entitled "I Walk Through The Open Door", she wrote:
"Sometimes the opportunity we desire is just beyond the open door. When we make the decision that we have had enough of what has been and no longer fear the "what if's," we will see the open door and walk through it."
She goes on to say, "...We sometimes fear the realm of the unknown and would rather stay in the realm of what we know. However, when we totally trust the Holy Spirit, we know that God is forever with us and will never leave us. And if we walk through the door to the other side, we will experience the table that God has prepared for us that meets our every need."
So what are you waiting for...perfect conditions in your situation? If that's your excuse then you're waiting is in vain because life is messy and the conditions of your situation will never be more perfect than they are right now. Yesterday is for letting go...tomorrow is but a dream...but today...Ahhhh...Today is for living.
So go on...step out on faith and walk through that open door to that new career in the field of interest you've always dreamed of working. Take that leap of faith through the door to that new relationship and give love another try.
Follow your passion through every door it leads you knowing God is with you every step of the way. Conquer your fears. Walk through that open door of opportunity set before you right now and don't look back even for a milla-second. Your divine destiny awaits you...so go get it!

Seek The Will of God...with Serenity
Continuing with this months theme on the 8th (of the 12) spiritual power faculties, Will and seeking the Will of God rather than forcing our personal will, three things came to my spirit while meditating on what to share with you as my Inspirational Love Notes message today. The first thing was the above subject title, "Seek The Will of God...with Serenity."
Yet, when I heard that still small voice within prompt me to write on the aforementioned subject topic, I asked God to reveal further insight and understanding to me on it from a Spiritual perspective. I asked God to help me more clearly understand what it really means to "Seek The Will God with Serenity" first so that I could more effectively convey this message to you.
Asking that question led me to do some research for you today. What I came up with first is that in order to fully understand the power in and purpose of the wise counsel of the statement, "Seek The Will of God with Serenity", we must first have a clear understanding of the word "Serenity".
According the Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary, the definition of Serenity is:

The second thing I was led in spirit to share with you as part of today's Inspirational Love Notes message is the ever popular Serenity Prayer. While I, like many of us, can recite it by heart I was compelled by Spirit to research that as well.
The more popular and familiar version of it as the official adopted prayer of Alcoholics Anonymous is:
However, in my obedience to Spirit to conduct some research on it, I discovered that the above version we have become so familiar with is actually NOT the original version or extent of this ever popular prayer/poem.
So as a result of my research findings I share with you below the original version of the Serenity Prayer and author in it's entirety. As you read it, see how this complete version of it adds more depth to the message of it and more effective helps to convey today's Inspirational Love Notes message as well.

Worry About Nothing...Pray About Everything
Not a lot of words are needed for me to convey the point of my Inspirational Love Note message to you today. The title of today's message speaks for itself which is in essence saying, "If you gone worry why pray...and if you gone pray why worry."
So I'll keep it short and sweet today by simply leaving you with this scripture from (Philippians 4:6-7) which says, "Do not worry over things, but always by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Jesus Christ."
Lastly, to go along with the above scripture, I leave you with this beautiful 1986 classic song by Anita Baker and The Winans befittingly titled, "Ain't No Need To Worry". I think between you meditating on the above scripture and soaking in the peaceful melody and soothing words to this song, which I've linked below, both the title and overall point of today's Inspirational Love Note message will be amply conveyed to you.

If God Redirects...You Must Accept
"Many are the plans in a man's or woman's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails" (Proverbs 19:21)
The tendency of many people is to become angry with God when he doesn't answer their prayer in the manner they had planned. Some people had planned marriage, job moves, career moves, location moves, the healthy recovery of loved ones from an illness, the successful start of a business, the educational completion of a particular degree. And God said, "NO" or "WAIT" to their plans sending many into a downward spiritual tailspin all because God didn't answer their prayers the way they had planned.
And so, the first thing you and I must always ask of God is "what is Your Will and purpose for my life?" Of course, His Will for us is to always live righteously by faith in Christ Jesus, but God has a plan for your life, As a child of God, you are here to fulfill the Will of God, and in so doing, God blesses you with the desires of your heart if it is "according to His good purpose."
Therefore, continue to plan for your life, but if it's God's Will for you to become something other than what you planned, or to receive something other than what you expected, accept God's purpose for your life. If God redirects your plans, by faith in Christ, you must accept his redirected plan for your life. And with God's redirection in your life, don't get angry or hostile. God's in control of your situation. Accept God's Will for your life knowing that "the Lord's purpose Will prevail." (Proverbs 19:21)

This very insightful message is from a written handout that was given to me in a class I took in the past at church. The original author of it is not stated at the end of it but it is written in the format of a poem. During my prayer and mediation time today on what message to share with you as my Inspirational Love Note for today that continues with the theme for this month on the Spiritual Faculty of Will, this article came to my spirit.

Your Pain...is Not in Vain
Today's Inspirational Love Note message is for those who have been or still is long suffering. This is a message of healing and hope to those who have been silently enduring any form of heartache or heartbreak over a long duration of time. To anyone who has been grieving a lost love in life or the passing on of a loved one to the after life. If you've been doing your absolute best to get over the feelings of deep sadness and despair this message is for you.
If you've been repeatedly hurt while going through a situation where you have sacrificed a lot emotionally, physically or otherwise, yet thus far you have seen very little to no profit from it in return. In fact, from the way the situation appears to be unfolding, it seems that all your patience, feelings and major sacrifices are not even being taking into serious consideration as far as things working out in a way that ensures you will get the reward that you rightfully deserve after all that you've endured.
I suspect that most of us fit the mode or can at least identify to some degree with at least one of the above scenario's. Therefore, this Inspirational Love Note message is a harbinger of good news to you that Your Pain...is NOT in Vain.
Sometimes when trying to figure out what the Will of God is for you in a situation you have to first get a clear mind on what is NOT God's Will for you. By no means do not proclaim to be an authority on the Will of God. However, what I do know for certain is NOT God's Will for my life or yours is this:
It is NOT God's Will for you to wake up everyday feeling heavy with depression, sadness and despair. It is NOT God's Will for you to cry yourself to sleep more nights of the week than you fall asleep in quiet rest and sweet peace. It is NOT God's Will for you to walk around in agony, feeling hopeless, joyless, experiencing only fleeting moments of happiness. So if this has been your experience up to this point, thinking this is the way life is suppose to be it's time to think a new thought. Today I have to come to tell you this is a lie.
According to John 10:10, "The thief cometh not but for to still, and kill and to destroy..." The thief in my illustrations above are those negative thoughts of defeat, the dark feelings of depression, the hopelessness of despair, the seductive well of sadness and sorrow that all come only to still, kill and destroy your joy. Joy that the world did not and can not give you as God can and has promised to you.
Jesus further states in the same aforementioned scripture that he came that, "...you might have life and have it more abundantly." This is the Will of God for your life and God is not like man that He shall tell a lie.
So rise from those feelings of defeat. Evict from your mind those thoughts of despair. Over come that heart of sadness and sorrow and know that no pain you've endured is in vain. Before the final act of the situation God's Will shall be done. Although from where you stand right now it may not appear to be the case, God is setting things up for you to get every bit of the good out of the situation that is yours by Divine Right to have.
Isiah 61:3 says of the Lord that, "...he will give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He might be glorified."
With that said, regardless of what the situation looks like or how long you've been going through it...be encouraged. Hold on and know that a change is coming and it's going to work in your favor in the end. Remember...it is God's Will for you to have life and have it more abundantly. Your Pain...is NOT in Vain and when you soon wake up and it's all said and done...everything will indeed be beautiful.

P.R.E.S.S.
Today's message is short and straight to the point. I asked God, as I do everyday, what He wanted me to say to you as a word of encouragement for my Inspirational Love Note for you today. As I sat quietly in meditation listening for His answer I heard that still small voice of Spirit within give me the acronym that is the title of this message and instructed me to tell you to P.R.E.S.S.
Regardless of your specific circumstances...despite how long you've been going through it....no matter how long you've been praying and waiting for a breakthrough in the situation...God said from this day forward you are to P.R.E.S.S.
Rather it is a physical illness or health challenge you've been waiting to see turned around yet the doctor's report keeps coming back with results you don't like or accept as the truth of your being....God said, P.R.E.S.S.
If it is a financial situation you've been praying for help with or perhaps like me you've endured being laid-off work due to the current economy and having difficulty finding new substantial employment....God said, P.R.E.S.S.
Perhaps you're facing a legal battle and the opposing side is being extremely difficult and trying everything they can to break your spirit and cause you to give in to "their will". God sent me today to tell you...By all means, DO NOT Settle or be bullied into accepting anyone else's will. Continue to wait on Him in perfect patience and P.R.E.S.S.

Well, in Philippians 3:13-14, The Apostle Paul said, "My brethren, I do not consider that I have reached the goal; but this one thing I do know, forgetting those things which are behind, I strive for those things which are before me; I press toward the goal to receive the prize of victory of God's highest calling through Jesus Christ."
So my friends, the message God sent through me for you today is to take this scripture and carry it in your heart and mind from this day forward. Use it as your great defense and speak it with conviction to that adverse situation your going through right now.
Say to your respective adversary, the health challenge, financial challenge, relationship challenge, legal challenge, etc., say to it boldly, "I will NOT be moved and you will NOT have victory over me. Yet, the perfect Will of God will have victory in me, through me and for me over you.
Then go forth in Christ Jesus following the instructions of God given to you through this Inspirational Love Note message for you today and P.R.E.S.S:
Pray about the situation. Release it to God to be worked out His way. Then...Expect your Success to be Surrendered to you from the situation as the perfect Will of our Most High God. Do you get it now? P.R.E.S.S!!!

So my friends, the message God sent through me for you today is to take this scripture and carry it in your heart and mind from this day forward. Use it as your great defense and speak it with conviction to that adverse situation your going through right now.
Say to your respective adversary, the health challenge, financial challenge, relationship challenge, legal challenge, etc., say to it boldly, "I will NOT be moved and you will NOT have victory over me. Yet, the perfect Will of God will have victory in me, through me and for me over you.
Then go forth in Christ Jesus following the instructions of God given to you through this Inspirational Love Note message for you today and P.R.E.S.S:
Pray about the situation. Release it to God to be worked out His way. Then...Expect your Success to be Surrendered to you from the situation as the perfect Will of our Most High God. Do you get it now? P.R.E.S.S!!!

Watch...Pray....Then Praise!!!
My Spiritual Mom and mentor, Rev. Virgina Jackson, whom I so dearly loved, recently made her transition from this life eight months ago this past December. Yet, it helps me cope and get through how much I miss her immensely when I remember how much I had the honor of learning from the intimate conversations during our relationship over the last 12 years.
So when I'm going through a challenging situation, that I would normally go and talk to her about, it's both funny and amazing how I'll begin to hear her words of wisdom, once I get still, just when I need them the most. One of the many empowering pearls of wisdom she use to often say to me when I felt uncertain about how to proceed in a situation was this:
"Watch THEEEN pray baby...don't pray then watch!"
Now, you're probably scratching your head thinking it should be the reverse like I did when she first gave me this puzzling...yet...wise counsel. However, she further explained to me the reason it's so important to "Watch First" then pray rather than the other way around is because if you don't be still and quietly observe the details of the situation long enough, you won't know what to pray about.
As difficult as it sometimes is to do, it's often much wiser to hold your peace until the right time. Instead of allowing your heated emotions, provoked by the ugly actions of others, to get to you it's better to let them continue to "show their hand" as they say in card games.
In other words, as the child of God in the situation, it is in such challenging times that it becomes essential for you to demonstrate your spiritual maturity. Keep your cool and allow God enough time to reveal to you the hidden agenda of those posing as your adversary in the situation. Only then will you have the information you need to go pray about.
So if your going through a situation where it looks and feels like all hell is breaking loose and you're unsure of the right way to handling it. Or if you're faced with an important decision to make and simply feel uncertain about the right thing to do. I encourage you to heed the wisdom of my belated Spiritual Mother. Watch...then Pray and while you're praying remember to ask God that His plan reign supreme over the hidden plans and agenda of anyone else involved in the matter. Then trust in the power of His word and allow God's Will only to be the final outcome.
Now take in the powerful words of Fred Hammond as you enjoy this soul stirring live version of one of my favorite songs by him entitled, "Let Me Praise You Now". I've attached it as a link below to help reiterate my message today. Now is the time to "Get your Praise Party on" while thanking God in advance for how He's working the situation out in you favor.

Abundantly Blessed
Psalm 115:13-15 says, "The Lord will bless them that worship him, both small and great. The Lord will increase you more and more, you and your children. You are blessed of the Lord who made heaven and earth."
Despite what the news reports say about the employment rate still being at an all time low, regardless of how long the government argues over the current economic situation of our country, you are abundantly blessed. You will continue to see the needs of yourself and your family met. You will continually receive your blessings daily because God is your Power Source and Unlimited Supply. Yet, for those who are more logical than spiritual and need hard core factual proof of this truth, the above referenced scripture is confirmation from God that it is His Divine Will for his people to prosper and continually receive his blessings.
I am living proof of this being true after experiencing three lay-offs between the onset of our countries economic crisis in Spring 2008 and the end of 2010. In fact, I still have not found new employment as of yet in the six months period since my most recent lay-off. Yet neither am I the least bit moved by it. It seemed every time I would find a new job it would last for a while then they'd start downsizing and laying people off due to the economy.
However, instead of seeing it as a lose I turned what appeared to be a negative into a positive. Following my first lay-off I took advantage of the opportunity and went to broadcasting school at Atlanta Broadcast Institute to finish getting my formal education in my career that I already have almost 10yrs experience in actually doing for a living.
Yet, continuing to pursue my career in radio is my passion and long time dream. So I went back to school and graduated as Salutatorian of from my June 2008. Additionally, I received special honors awards for my demonstrated leadership, talent and congenial support of my classmates and during team assignments. Also as a result of that lay-off and going back to broadcasting school, I got the esteemed opportunity to intern with the Director of Production & Promotions and A&R at Record Producer Dallas Austin's recording studio company, DARP, Inc. here in Atlanta.
After the second lay-off a year later in Spring of 2009, I began praying for God to reveal to me His Divine Will and Plan for my life. I asked him to show me what He wanted me to do with my time, my talents and my passion for creative writing and my desire to get my radio show Love Notes back on-air. I asked God to show me how my desires for my life aligned with His Divine Will and calling on the purpose for my life.
He answered me by putting in my spirit the Divine idea to first start sowing a seed by using my time and talent as a contributing writer for my church news magazine. Then he increased and expanded by gift of poetry and creative writing by leading me in spirit to create this blog website as a spin off of my radio show Loves Notes, hence the name of this blog, Inspirational Love Notes.
Just like with my radio show God is using my passion and gift of creative writing to reach his people and keep them encouraged through these trying times. Also, to remind all that God is real and still on the throne. Most importantly God us using my talents to send expressions of His unconditional love through the unique way he expresses himself through my gifts & talents. This is the ultimate purpose for the messages I publish on this blog website and my radio show that is also currently in the workings of being revamped as an internet Podcast show.
Finally, in the last quarter of last year 2010, just in the nick of time when my unemployment ran out God blessed me with the opportunity to start using my years of established experience in the television and radio broadcasting industry to do begin doing freelance work. An old friend and co-worker who I had kept in touch with periodically over the years called me out of the blue and offered me a freelance gig working for her at Turner Broadcasting Entertainment Studios.
I absolutely loved it, made good money and enjoyed it while it lasted. Then when it came to an abrupt end the past December 2010, I continued to trust God for the next blessing that by that point I had grown more than confident was sure to come. In the meantime, I decided to go back to school again. This time I'm currently enrolled at University of Phoenix pursing the completion of my Bachelor's program in Business/Marketing.
I'm not afraid or ashamed to share my very personal experience with you because I know so many of you are, quiet as it's kept, going through the same thing right now. Also, because I know that God would not have allowed me to go through that had he not had a perfectly orchestrated divine plan for me to come out on the other side of it all better off than before.
I know that God allowed me to go through that experience so that I may use my testimony today and in the days to come to be an inspiration to someone else who's struggling in their journey to overcome the same or similar experience. Perhaps that person may be you. Either way, I know that what God did and is doing for me He can and will also do the same for you.
So if you are about to be or is already experiencing being laid-off work, please do not give that job or the people who run that company more power than our Most High God. Walk away from that job knowing who you are in Christ and to whom you belong. God has got your back! Though it may not be an easy journey to overcome I promise you with everything I know to be true about God, I have never seen the righteous forsaken or begging for bread. Trust in the will of God for your life and know that you are abundantly blessed.
In closing, to help you stay in this frame of consciousness I leave you with this affirmative prayer statement:
"Divine Abundance is eternally operating n my life. The plentiful action of God is constant in its support of me, and I am continually aware of this, therefore I relax all concerns. I let go and let God meet every need and fulfill every heart's desire. Freely trusting in God's Fullness of Expression, I give deep and grateful thanks for my invisible supply made visible."
I highly recommend you say this affirmation daily three times upon awaking in the morning to set the tone for you day, then again three times before bed to have as the last thing in your conscious mind before going to sleep. As my Spiritual leader and Pastor, Bishop Dr. Barbara L. King says, I promise you it works if you work it.
Lastly, I also leave you with the song of encouragement linked below off the new cd "The Light of The Sun" by the beautiful Jill Scott to remind you that regardless of your current situation or circumstances if you woke up this morning of sound mind and healthy body surrounded by the slightest degree of expression of love, you are indeed "So....Abundantly...Blessed".

Will Power.... Welcome to the Month of August
Welcome to the month of August! If you're reading this it means you've successfully made it through more than half of the year which is certainly a blessing.
Continuing with my year long theme to raise your awareness of the 12 spiritual power faculties within us as spiritual beings having a human experience, we have thus far covered the first 7 of the 12. In case you're just coming aboard the seven spiritual faculties I've covered so far and the disciple that represents each faculty from January through July are, Faith (Peter), Love (John), Strength (Andrew- Peter's brother), Wisdom(James), Power (Philip), Imagination (Bartholomew), and we just concluded with messages on spiritual Understanding in July (represented by the disciple Thomas).
This month the theme will be on the 8th spiritual faculty power which is Will. The physical location in the body where this power is activated is the forehead-front brain. It is also known as the spiritual energy center called the 3rd eye Chakra. The disciple of Jesus that represents this spiritual power faculty is Matthew.
Throughout this month I will be sharing inspirational messages that promotes awareness of this faculty. I will also offer encouraging productive ways to use this spiritual power as well as insightful messages of Truth on the difference between personal will and the Will of God.
In closing, let us rejoice and give thanks to God that we've come this far by faith. We have just four more months left in the year. Yet, know that you are not alone in this journey. I am here for you and standing together with our confidence in God I am certain we can make it to the end.
So by all means, continue to send me your comments and feedback. Learning and growing is a two way street and I love hearing from you. So let's grow together in love....and let's begin by praying together the words of our Master Teacher Jesus Christ in Luke 22:42 which says, "Not as I will, but thy will be done." Ready...Let's go!!!
