Today I practice the art of non-resistance. I make the conscious choice to refrain from worrying or over thinking about the affairs or direction of my life. Instead, I am devoted to living fully in the gift of this NOW present moment. I open my mind, eyes and heart to be aware of all the beauty and bountiful blessings that are all around me here and now.

I keep my focus on the I Am presence of God in me as I surrender all that concerns my future into His hands. I am aligned with the divine flow and upper progressive movement of life. And I trust the process of my life to unfold according to God's perfect plan.

I now go free to embrace and enjoy the perfect good for me this day now holds. While keeping an attitude of gratitude as each blessing does unfold.

Something To Tuck Under Your Pillow: The Flagship of True Friendship

There comes a time along our human journey where we all will experience a temporary season in life that will challenge you to your core....stretch you beyond your comfort zone....and take you to your darkest places within. If you haven't gotten to that season yet don't worry....keep living, it will eventually come.

Yet, what I've come to learn from those testy seasons in life the most is that:

a) Those same seasons in life that feel like they have come to BREAK you have really come to BLESS you by making you stronger, wiser and better than you were before.

b) No matter how ugly those times in life look or how awful they may feel, truth is they have only come to pass THROUGH your life NOT stay with you forever. Although it may feel as though it's taking forever for things to get better to where you can see the light at the end of tunnel. Hold on, there is a rainbow in the mist of those clouds and it sure does have a pot of gold waiting for you on the other side for all that you've been through. 

c) When the dark clouds that come during a storm in nature, the light of the sun is still shining even in the mist of the storm. Although the clouds of the storm may block your view from realizing this to be true while the storm is still underway, once the storm has completed its, sometimes vicious, other times scary, but most times just very uncomfortable, cycle and moves on the light of the sun reveals itself again. 

The same is true with the light that is shining within you. Your inner light is eternal because it is the light of the Most High, your holy creator. It is the light of your soul where the true essence and divinity within you lives. 

It can sometimes be dimmed by the clouds of the dark seasons in life that come to pass us like thunder storms. But NOTHING and NO ONE can ever destroy or put out your inner light. After that storm in your life has passed, just like the sun following a thunder storm, your inner light will reveal itself and RISE within you yet again. 

d) I have found all the aforementioned processes during those dark seasons in life, that eventually leads back to your inner light shining again, are all much easier to GO through and GROW through when you are shown the loyalty, support, understanding, compassion, patience, kindness and love of a true friend.

And the irony to this is that you only discover who those true friends are when you are actually in eye balls deep in the mist of that season that feels like an horrific storm passing through your life.

So if you have at least one person in your life who has proven to be a lasting and loyal true friend through your spring, summer, winter and fall seasons in your life, then share this message with them and let them know how much you appreciate their presence in your life. Thank them for standing by you during those rough times in life and celebrating you during your best times in life.

Something To Tuck Under Your Pillow:Embracing The True You

Who are you? No...I mean, who are you really? Who is the REAL you? Not the business person you. Not the various roles you play version of you, like mom, dad, brother, sister, husband, wife, mate, student, etc.

Who are you? Not the public persona you, or all your social media profiles version of you, or the representative you that shows up on first dates and in the beginning of a new relationship, version of you. I mean the REAL you....the authentic, God's Original Recipe YOU.

Do you know that version of you? Have you looked in the mirror completely naked and unafraid to fully embrace, accept, love, and develop a deep and intimate relationship with THAT version of you. If not, why not? What's holding you back?

As I get older I'm coming to learn that the more I tap into....align with...accept....embrace....honor....celebrate....become comfortable in my own skin, and express my truest, most authentic self, the more I am noticing people who were never really a true fit and never really shared a genuine affinity with me on the level of my core self, begin to fade from my life.

Like the dead weight of leaves liberating the branches of a tree in autumn, certain people have begun to fall off my life path and remove themselves from my friendship, relationship, and social circle. And that's a realization that's becoming increasingly alright with me.

Why? Because I'm also coming to more clearly understand, as I grow in life, love, age, spiritual consciousness, and wisdom, that as you become clearer about who YOU really are at your core self level...your soul expression level....the version of you that's behind all the mask, public persona's, social representative's, the ego-self and even your personality.

When you dig deep and go within to develop a more intimate relationship with your core self, you find the place where the God and Goddess in you resides and abides just waiting for your permission to be released like a genie. Only in this case, YOU are the bottle from which the genie is released.

When you tap into that part of you and take time to cultivate a real authentic relationship of genuine love, appreciation and acceptance of that part of yourself that is the real you and begin to show up to life from that space and place within, you automatically cause a powerful shift on a vibrational level within yourself that eliminates the people from your life that do not match your authentic-self vibration.

While at the same time, you attract to you the people who are a true match vibrationally to the real, authentic and true you. And they will begin to show up in ways that just amazes you and make you feel celebrated for just being....Uniquely You. Just the way our Holy Creator the Most High God intended.

So you see...at the end of the day it really does pay to just be yourself....YOUR TRUE....AUTHENTIC SELF. Not matter what anyone else has to say or feel about you. After all, no one else will ever be able to really get to know you and love you for who you really are until you take the lead and do it first.

Something To Tuck Under Your Pillow: Be Still And Know...

Hello again beloveds,

How was your day? You know, Wednesday's are called "hump day" for a reason. And if your day was anything like mine, depending on what side of the globe you're reading this from, you're probably just glad it's over now. 

I woke up today with so much weighing on my heart and mind. No matter how hard I tried I just couldn't seem to pull it together. And I ended up having a pretty emotional, energy all over the place, difficulty finding my focus, feeling so out of balance kinda day.  

But at the end of the day, after putting my daughter to bed, I finally had a moment to myself. So I used that time to sit down and do my journal writing and have my quality quiet time with God as I do every night. And rather than venting to God about all the complaints I had about things gone wrong or not yet going as I would like, I chose instead to express gratitude for all the things that God has already worked out for me. 

I chose instead to write down in my gratitude journal all the things I could think of that I really appreciated and recognized as blessings that happened throughout my day despite how my day began. And when I finished writing to God my gratitude list instead of my list of complaints I heard this:

"Be still and know that I AM God.....
Be still and know that I AM your true Source....
Be still and know that I AM your true Substance.....
Be still and know that I AM your true Supplier....
Be still and know that I AM your true Supply.....

Be still and know that I AM your true Provider....
Be still and know that I AM your true Peace.....
Be still and know that I AM your true Protector....
Be still and know that I AM your true Prosperity....
Be still and know that I AM the answer and fulfillment
of all your Prayers....

Be still and know that I AM with you....
Be still and know that I AM for you....
Be still and know how much I Love you....
Be still and know how infinitely much you mean to me....

Be still and know that I AM yours and you beloved
will eternally be mine....
Be still and know I will NEVER leave you....
Be still and know I will NEVER forsake you....
Be still and know I will NEVER abandon you....

And after hearing that and writing it down I simply closed my journal and said....Wow....Thank you God!!!

Something To Tuck Under Your Pillow: Never Underestimate The Power of God

Hello again beloveds! Can we talk candidly tonight?

Have you ever shared an idea of something you were seriously thinking about doing with someone close to you and they boldly told you they don't believe you're capable of doing it?

It really irritates me when people underestimate me. I find it really annoying when people take it upon themselves to tell me what they think I cannot do based on their limited thinking and perception of me.

I'm sure you have experienced this at some point before in your life as well. Right? And well...let's just admit it. It usually happens most often with people who have known you the longest, like family and close friends. For some strange reason they think because they've known you your whole life, or the better part of it, that they also know your capabilities best...even better than you.

So when you express something you're genuinely interested in doing, that in order to accomplish it would mean stepping outside the proverbial box they have put you in and kept you in your entire life, they seem to find it their place to boldly tell you they don't believe you can do it.

But truth is, no one knows you better than your Creator. No one knows what you are capable of doing or not better than God...your true Source. So when people tell me what they believe I can't do or accomplish it really irritates me. Because in my mind, when you underestimate me you are also underestimating my creator, the Most High God, that made me. How so?


Because God is my source and my strength. He is the one who has instilled in me the ability to do the things I am very well capable of doing. It is he who gives me the power to accomplish the things I set out to pursue and do. And the older I get, God's opinion is increasingly becoming the only one that really matters to me regarding what I'm able to accomplish or not.

The same is true for you too. God is your true source also. So let his opinion of what you're capable of doing be the only one that ultimately matters at the end of the day to you. Don't allow other people's limited perception of you to cause you to limit yourself. Don't hold back or back down from pursuing something God put in your heart and spirit to do just because the peanut gallery doesn't believe you can do it.

That being said, if there is something God has put in your heart to do, first of all it may be best to keep it to yourself for awhile until He works out at least most of the details for you. Also, everyone is not going to be on your same spiritual level of understanding and therefore will not be able to share you same level of faith about it as you or in you. Unfortunately, this means sometimes we have to walk alone for awhile in order to get where God is taking us.

Secondly, God gave you the vision not your family and friends. So although it does feel good to have the support and blessing of family and friends when your pursuing a desired dream or aspiration, they can't see the vision for it the way you can because God gave the vision to you not them. So they most likely won't get it the way you do or share your same level of enthusiasm about it as well. When this happens try not to take it personal.

Lastly, if you do decide to share your dream, aspirations, or plans with them and they tell you they don't believe, for whatever reason, you can accomplish what you have shared with them you have received in your heart to pursue, your best response to them should simply be the following quote from Philippians 4:13: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

Something To Tuck Under Your Pillow:A Prayer for Mother's

Dear Mom,

On countless occasions you have proven the words and sentiment of the quote taken from the poster attached to be true. But tonight it is the exact opposite.Tonight all your children, including myself, are thinking about and praying for you. I pray that God protects and heals you like only He can do. May He turn your situation around and make you brand new. I love you very much mom and I know you love me too. And So It Is!

I know Mother's Day was a few months ago but tonight my mom is weighing heavy on my heart and mind. You see, my mom is a very strong woman with a big beautiful heart. But she has been experiencing a health challenge that has been progressing and, as of this week, has her in the hospital. Reasonably so, it is a situation that is causing deep concern for myself and my family at this time.

I love my mom very much and it hurts me to see her experiencing what she's going through. However, I am a firm believer that prayer is the most powerful weapon you can use when faced with any trial or challenge in life, including physical ailments and health concerns.

In fact, I believe in the power of prayer so strongly that when done in multiples of two or more joining together, prayer can be the most effective remedy for any health condition and even produce miracles turning the situation around. With this in mind, prayer can be the best gift you can give to a love one in need of healing or any concern they may have.

So tonight let's stand together and band together in prayer for our love ones in need of a healing, especially if you have a mom or are a mom in need of prayer now.

Post a prayer in the comment section below that you would like me to stand in agreement with you on for your mom, yourself or loved one. And I ask that you stand in agreement with me as well on the prayer I included in the opening of this message for my mom too. Then let's trust God together for a miracle to happen for us all.

Something To Tuck Under Your Pillow

Hello Beloveds! It's Friday!!!! The day we've all been waiting for so the weekend can begin. I hope everyone of you had an AWESOME week. Any task, errands, or work you didn't get done or situation that didn't get worked out by today it's time to let it go and try again on Monday.

If fact, my message for you tonight is about just that. Sometimes we tend to hold on to things more than we should, racking our brain, stressing ourselves out and darn near driving ourselves crazy trying to get more done in a day than the 24 hour period we're given in a day will allow. Or we work overtime trying to fix a situation and do what sometimes only God can do for us. So tonight we're going to all take a breath....woo saaaah together and let the week go.

I also want to share with you a technique I use every night as part of my daughter's bed time ritual to help her relax and go to sleep. I either stand her in front of me as I sit in the rocking chair in her room or I hold her close to me in my lap.

We then take three deep breathes together and blow each one out with force to release all the negative energy, and vibrational toxins from our bodies picked up from whatever environments we may have been in throughout the day.

Then we do her favorite part together and shake our hands in the air as if they're wet and you're trying to air dry them or get something off of them. And together we say, "shake off the day....shake off the day...shake off the day!!! We repeat that three times with enthusiasm as we let go of whatever happened throughout the day and give it to God.

So tonight I suggest you try this little technique I made up for my daughter. It sure does help me. And I feel confident if you give it a try as well, like my daughter and me, you too will go to sleep in peace knowing all is well...and all is working out for your highest and greatest good no matter how the week or your day unfolded.

Something To Tuck Under Your Pillow

One of my favorite bible scriptures on love is from 1 John 3:18. It says, "My children, our love should not be just words and talk; it must be true love, which shows itself in action." (Good News Bible Translation)

My Inspirational Love Notes-"Something To Tuck Under Your Pillow" message for you tonight is inspired from that scripture and a beautifully written passage I read a year ago about true love, in a book by one of my favorite love story authors (who's books often become great movies as well) Nicholas Sparks. He is the author of the epic love story, "The Notebook, that also became a hit movie."

The book I read last summer by him, that is also the partial inspiration for my message tonight, is from his book called, The Wedding, which is the sequel to The Notebook.

Side note: If you haven't read The Wedding by him already or didn't know he wrote a sequel to The Notebook, I highly recommend getting it from your local library where I found it, or ordering it online. It is definitely a must read if you're a hopeful romantic like me. Okay...back to my message for tonight. Lol :-)

Love, as I have come to learn, is more than three words exchanged with a kiss before bed at night, as Nicholas Sparks also said. But I would like to also add to that by saying, it is also more than three words you say at the end of a conversation before hanging up the phone. Or part of a daily morning routine before leaving for work. 

Love is sustained and maintained by action as the aforementioned biblical scripture in 1 John 3:18 also states. It is a pattern of devotion and commitment demonstrated by things you are willing to do for each other on a daily basis. It is shown in the level of willingness to allow yourself to grow spiritually, as well as emotionally, with each other. That in so doing, you may expand your perception and understanding of what true love is and the emotional capacity to express love for one another unconditionally.

Hello again Beloveds,

My Inspirational Love Notes, "Something To Tuck Under Your Pillow" message for you tonight is on four of my favorite words....Love...Honesty....Truth...and Respect. They are my four favorite words because I believe they are also the four key cornerstones to having a lasting relationship of any kind. The latter three of them being equally as essential as the first one...Love. Why? Because HONESTY....TRUTH....AND RESPECT are the seeds AND the soil that cultivates and gives birth to LOVE.

But this only works when there is a mutual exchange of these four words in the relationship expressed not in words....but through actions. Bottom line, Honesty....Truth... and Respect are the oxygen to Love. Yet, the four of them working together and mutually exchanged between two people is the life force energy that keeps any relationship alive. 

Without them, the relationship is absent of the strong foundation it needs to build anything lasting, and of quality, and of high value on. Which means if you're continuing to invest in a relationship that lacks Honesty, Truth, Respect, and Love you are essentially making a very bad investment of your time...energy...and emotions.

Something To Tuck Under Your Pillow

Sometimes the hardest person to show loyalty to is ourselves. But the real reason we're so angry and feel so bad inside is often because deep down we know that we betray ourselves every time we stay in that unhealthy relationship far longer than we should. And when we make that decision to take our lives in a path or direction that's not in alignment with our true hearts desire.

But we do it anyway out of trying to please other's like our parents, family, friends, mate or spouse instead of listening to our inner guidance and intuition. We do this every time we take that job or make that career choice to in order to live up to the expectations of another. When we really don't feel in our gut and soul that that career path is what we're being called on a deeper level to do.

We also betray ourselves when you have babies because your parents are pressuring you to give them grandchildren. Or when you marry that person not because you feel they are a true match for you. But because they on paper they fit all the criteria you know will please your family, uphold a certain image you wand to maintain, or because you don't want to let your parents down by following your heart and marrying someone else who they may feel is beneath the family standards. But there is nothing honorable in betraying yourself for the sake of someone else.

When we do this...when we betray our selves in these various ways by allowing our need for acceptance to make us place our loyalty to other's as higher priority over being to ourselves, we feel awful inside. Yet, beating yourself and putting yourself down is just as unhealthy and doesn't make you feel any better.

In fact, the only remedy that's proven to do that is making the choice to be love yourself enough to be true to your hearts desire....be true to your vision for your life...be true to your dreams, aspirations and goals....be true to yourself...and when you do you will then have learned how to also be loyal to your soul. This is just a little "Something to tuck under you pillow" to ponder as you fall asleep tonight.  Have a good night!

Hello my beloved Inspirational Love Notes follower's and fans. For those of you have been following my daily Inspirational Love Notes messages for a while now, you probably remember a I feature I would started last year sending you every night I called, "Something To Tuck Under Your Pillow."

It was a short positive and inspiring message either personally written by me or just a quote or poster image to end your day with, keep you encouraged and uplifted through the night. And most importantly, it was intended to give you something positive and inspiring to ponder on as you lay down to sleep each night. Hence the title/theme..."Something To Tuck Under Your Pillow.

Something to Tuck Under Your Pillow: Caribbean Island Getaway

If you had the kind of day I had today you're probably wishing you could be transported away to some beautiful Caribbean island of your choice. Well, with the power of imagination, you can!!! So visualize this with me for a moment if you will.

See yourself right now on the most beautiful Caribbean island of your choice that you've already visited. Or one that you have always desired to go visit some day.

On your part of the island there are no children, or screaming, fussy babies to tend to. No bosses to answer or report to. No unpleasant or difficult co-workers to put up with. No ringing phones to answer. No spouses or mates to cook dinner for or fulfill a "Honey Do List".

Nope....none of that!!! On your imaginary island there's just you on a white sand beach. See yourself taking in the beauty of the clear sea green ocean, with your favorite drink in your hand served to you by a handsome cabana boy (or girl for you men) with one of those little umbrella's in it.
As you sip on it slowly, the smell of the ocean water tickles your nose in the wind. Then you close your eyes and give a silent yet heartfelt prayer of gratitude to God for this moment of peaceful....quiet... serenity now.

Now...hold that vision as you drift off to sleep. And until you can get to that island in your reality, know that everything is gonna be alright.

In the meantime, please accept my vibrations of Love sent with this message. Along with a virtual hug from me to you. And I'll accept the same back from you through your vibrations of Love and prayers as well.

Dear God,

Thank you for protecting me, my family, and friends through another week.

A Better You...A Better Life

I hope no one gets offended by this post. But I saw this image and thought it completely resonates with my motto for this year.

You see, I have declared 2015 as my "Get Your **ish Together Year!" But that's not a New Year's Resolution. It's an "Unhappiness Solution!" What exactly does that mean? Well, let me explain.

It means as a child of the Most High God, who scripture tells me has promised me abundant life as long as I put Him first, which I do and have done since my childhood. I cannot and will not settle for less than I know in my heart I am here to Do....Be....Have.....Experience.....or Receive.

So what exactly do you mean by, "Abundant Life" you ask? Abundant life, to me means, Heaps of Happiness, Jubilant Joy, Pleasurable Peace, Plentiful Prosperity, Bountiful Blessings, Heavenly Health and a Wellspring of Wealth (in the form of unlimited supply which is not to be confused with being filthy rich).

This means, it is imperative to let go, move away from, separate or distance myself from any thoughts, emotions, beliefs, habits, behavior patterns, and yes....even People who are negatively affecting my ability to move to the next level of spiritual and personal growth and development.

It means, removing anything, thought or person that is dimming my light and suppressing my greatness from bursting forth and shining THROUGH ME.....AS ME.

It means, getting my affairs in order and taking that next big, VERY NECESSARY, leap of faith into my Divine Destiny and Greatest Potential to Be....Do....Have...Experience....the best version of me I can be.

Yes, I want better! I deserve better! It is my Divine Right to experience and have better! And 2015 is the year I am going after better with a heart of expectation and determination to receive better.

And I will no longer settle for less than the portion that's divinely mine. So help me God! In the name and NATURE of Jesus the Christ....And So It Is!!!

Now aren't you ready for YOUR better more abundant life too?

Something To Tuck Under Your Pillow: A Dream of Love

 I have a dream....

that the universal language of love

 will be spoken by all and deeply felt....

All walls of resistance to love

 will come crumbling down, 

and all frozen hearts will melt....

I have a dream....

that the message of love

 I was born to bring....

Will be a beautiful song 

every soul will sing....

And love will no longer be taken 

for granted or seen,

as a quick fix you can get 

any day of the week,

from a common casual fling....

Love will instead be recognized, honored

 and cherished as a sacred

 spiritual thing....

And the power of love will

 once again reign supreme,

and the fears and false beliefs about love

 the mind of man will no longer cling....

Yes, I have a dream....

that my poems of love will be

a healing balm to the broken-hearted 

sparking a ripple effect 

of vibrational energy....

Compelling wounded souls

 to draw nearer to God,

no matter what their race or religious

 practices may be....

I have a dream....

that the words that pour forth from 

my mouth each day....

and the meditations of my heart 

will be acceptable to God

as I kneel down and pray....

Dear God, please use my talents and gifts 

in such a unique way....

That each Inspirational Love Note I write

will clearly convey....

That You are the potter and 

I am the clay....

This is my written vision of love,

made plain and clear today....

That it shall come to pass;

It shall not delay....

Yes, I have have a dream....

And the vision I'm dreaming of....

Is that all my creative bodies of work will

uplift, empower, encourage, and inspire,

the heart of humanity to return to Love.
